Update: After more than 21 hours, man on SteelStacks’ blast furnaces comes down safely

Shouting words that mostly were undiscernible to people on the ground, the man carried on for hours on end, his arms outstretched at times, as he balanced precariously on a single beam as high on the structure as he could possibly go, about 300 feet up. While it was hard to make out what he was saying, some words and phrases were clear: “traitor,” “my hometown,” and “I do not fear.” He also counted down “three, two, one,” after shouting what sounded like “anarchy.”
