South Korea’s army is training drones to teabag enemies with explosives

South Korea may be intent on developing a fleet of drones that draw inspiration from the animal kingdom, but that doesn’t mean it’s forgoing some very human characteristics for future unmanned aerial vehicles— namely a giant pair of explosive balls.


First surfaced on South Korean military news outlet bemil.chosun, a series of photographs appear to show South Korean soldiers at the ROK Army Intelligence School in Icheon testing out a fleet of versatile drones:

According to bemil.chosun, the drones were designed to perform not just intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance functions, but also transport supplies to South Korean military personnel in dicey situations.
