The search continued Sunday for a body in a Westmoreland County creek.
Dive teams, rescue crews and more than 100 people stepped up to search Brush Creek in North Huntingdon on Sunday.
A man who was using metal detector in the woods near the creek said he spotted the body Saturday. Crews spent hours in the water but did not find a body.
“We were able to put drones up, a drone in the area to check. At the conclusion of today, we were obviously unsuccessful in making a location,” North Huntingdon police Chief Robert Rizzo said Saturday.
The search was suspended Saturday evening around 5 p.m. The search resumed Sunday, but crews were unsuccessful.
