Man flees traffic stop, eludes drone and police dog in Franklin

FRANKLIN – Franklin police are still searching for a man who fled a traffic stop and crashed into another car, sending one person to the hospital with minor injuries.

An officer tried pull over a vehicle for a traffic violation at about 4:45 a.m. Sept. 7 along the 6600 block of South 27th St., according to a press release. The vehicle was missing a license plate.

The suspect vehicle fled the scene, but after a mile and a half, crashed into another car not involved with the chase at intersection of South 27th Street and West Grange Avenue in Milwaukee.

The driver escaped on foot and neither a drone nor a police dog could locate him, according to records from the Franklin Police Department. Police
