  • Thermal imaging firm Flir signed an agreement with the US Army for $2.6 million
  • As part of the deal, it will supply its Black Hornet 3 nano-drones to the Army’s Soldier Borne Sensor program, which helps provide more awareness in combat 
  • The drones weigh just 32 grams but are able to fly 2km as fast as 21km per hour
  • Flir said it has supplied drones to over 30 nations, including Australia and France
