Drone repeatedly hovers over family’s yard: Russell Police

RUSSELL TOWNSHIP, Ohio – General Assistance, Belle Vernon Drive: A woman sought advice May 4 for dealing with a neighbor’s drone that has been frequenting her backyard over the past several months. It arrives from across the street and hovers for several minutes while she and her family are in their yard. She was advised to call police the next time it arrives.

 

General Assistance, Chillicothe Road: A man called for help 10:35 a.m. May 6 after getting stuck on his roof. An officer helped him down safely.

Suspicious, Kinsman Road: A resident reported receiving calls from a company trying to sell him a new roof May 3. The man felt the call was part of a scam and wanted to alert police in case other residents were targeted. An officer called the phone number and learned that it was disconnected.
